Science behind Redensity I treatment
Skin aging is accompanied by the decreased production of cells and structural components such as collagen and elastin, that are required to provide elasticity and hydration to the skin. Hyaluronic acid content is also decreased with aging. This process results in thinner and drier skin, wrinkle formation, loss of elasticity, and rough skin texture.

The Redensity I formula is delivered into the skin with a microneedling technique also known as percutaneous collagen induction. The procedure creates multiple needle pricks and, as a result, initiates the natural response to microscopic wounds such as growth factor release and the formation of new collagen and elastin.
In our clinic we use the V2 injector gun that utilizes a 9-pin needle and vacuum suction. With this automated device the product is delivered with an accurate depth and dosage across the entire treatment area.
Unlike other microneedling devices, the Beauty Booster V2 injector penetrates the skin and deposits the product at the same time. This unique technology repairs the skin from a deeper level that cannot be reached with topical microneedling serums.

When is the Beauty Booster indicated?
For your personal protocol our doctor will recommend the optimal treatment for your needs. The Beauty booster can be used regularly 2-4 times a year to prevent or reduce signs of skin aging. You can also utilize this treatment on special occasions, such as after prolonged sun exposure or prior to an important event when you want to give your skin hydration and a new glow.
Depending on your skin conditio and to achieve an optimal result, you might be recommended to complete a 3-session protocol at a 4 week interval to extend the effects of the treatment.
What areas can be treated with the Beauty Booster?
The procedure can be a used to improve quality of your skin in any areas, however, the major benefit is to treat skin exposed to photoaging such as face, neck, décolleté and hands.
What happens during the treatment?
Prior to the injections, a topical numbing cream will be applied to the treatment area for 30 min to improve your comfort during the session. The microneedling treatment itself will take about 30-45 min depending on which areas you would like to treat. After the treatment, you will receive a mask that will help to calm and heal your skin.
How long is the recovery after the procedure?
Majority of patients will only see small papules and tiny spots at the injection site that usually disappear by the next day. Some patients may experience a bit of swelling and redness, tiny dot-like bruises that are more common in the under eye area. The injection is very superficial and does not penetrate any of the blood vessels that are usually located underneath the skin. However, if you have a lot of spider veins this may increase the risk of bruises because those tiny blood vessels come to the skin surface.
For the first few days your skin may look a bit "tired" while the healing and rejuvenation process is initiated. You may notice small areas of scabbing ("sand-paper") 3-5 days after the treatment. Don't use any harsh scrubs or peeling agents at that point. A gentle face wash and moisturizing cream are recommended for the first 2 weeks in order to create optimal conditions for skin healing.
When do I start seeing results?
You will see a healthy skin glow and improved hydration within 7 days after the initial treatment thanks to the immediate effect of the hyaluronic acid and vitamins. Since the restructuring process takes longer, you may notice improvement in skin firmness and wrinkle reduction a bit later. In addition, these effects are cumulative with each subsequent session.
